And here we are again, in another October! I'm going to attempt #Fictober again this year, using the prompts from here: https://fictober-event.tumblr.com/
Once again, this will take place in my alternate universe of the Cavit Ro Voyager Alternate Retelling, but I’ll move ahead to 2375 now that I’m at season five of my retelling, and just like most of the other Fictobers, I’m going to focus on places Voyager left behind, some glimpses of how things went differently in the Alpha Quadrant (most notably the different Maquis ship meant that Chakotay’s Maquis were in the Alpha Quadrant, which I’ve touched on before, and included Torres saving around a third of the Maquis).

Summary
A re-telling of Star Trek: Voyager's fifth season, with two major changes:
In Season One, the senior crew who survived the trip to the Delta Quadrant were reversed, leaving Commander Cavit, Lieutenant Stadi, Doctor Fitzgerald, Lieutenant Honigsberg, and the unseen chief science officer, Zandra Taitt, alive, but leaving the crew without Janeway, Paris, or Kim.
Second, the Maquis ship pulled into the Delta Quadrant was captained by the former Lieutenant Ro and a different group of Maquis.
There are also original characters, based on background characters (the other Ocampa in Daggin's garden) or otherwise from Trek canon, albeit some of it very, very bare-bones, like Okudagrams or "mentioned in dialog."
