Summary
Calia Volcan, a successful and talented young black doctor gets transported to a mythological AU after a freak accident. She awakens in a complex world filled with every mythological creature she can think of (in humanoid form) fighting for power, status, and love.
She is found in the deep forrest by a powerful orc king named Karagar, who looks at her like she hung the stars in the sky herself. She quickly finds that this world holds a depth of love and community that both invigorates and terrifies her. She knows full well if she accepts the hand of Karagar, there will be no going back….
