Summary
A Modern AU of CaitVi - Vi's job as a firefighter has many dangers, it comes with the job. Her newly engaged fiancée also has a career full of dangers, Caitlyn is the much-loved sheriff of Piltover. The two are used to their fair share of injuries from their jobs. Both always promise to return to each other after each of their shifts, mostly intact.
Their plan's for finally tying the knot are put on hold when Vi is severely injured on shift, forcing everything to a standstill. Vi faces a road to recovery before she can finally walk down the aisle. Though Vi is never alone in her journey as Caitlyn is always at her side, testing Caitlyn's patience against Vi's stubbornness.
But injuries won't be the only thing they have to worry about.
