Summary
Gojo Satoru, at 33, is trying to figure where he fits in life.
While his friends have careers, children, and spouses—he's spent the last handful of years traveling the world and trying to come into tune with who he truly is. With a mother who's deemed him unworthy of her attention since he 'abandoned' the family legacy, and a long line of failed dates, he's starting to wonder if he'll ever start the family he's dreamed of...until his cousin, Utahime, gives him her reservation to a new restaurant called "UZUMAKI," and he meets Geto Suguru.
Geto Suguru seems straight out of a fairytale. With a handsome face, gentle personality, and a connection to Gojo that's almost on the level of soulmates; nothing should be wrong between them. But unfortunately, Gojo's past still has a hold on him, and until he can get over the pain of his mother's neglect—he doesn't know if he'll ever be able to experience his happily ever after.

"I love you, Shoko," Satoru's brow furrowed, his voice deadly serious, "but I have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

Shibuya was hell.
Nobody still alive had been as close to the centre of the maelstrom as Yuuji had been that day.
People heaped praises on him. He was so strong, they said. He had saved Japan, maybe even the world, when he had opened his domain and swallowed up the curse puppeteering Geto Suguru’s body.
But the sight of the sealed prison realm cratered into the platform, swimming with mad, tear-filled eyes…
Yuuji had failed. He had saved the world, sure, but he hadn’t saved Gojou-sensei.------
Gojou was sealed and Yuuji stepped up to save the day, but nothing will ever be the same.Especially not Gojou.

Summary
Suguru begins to wonder if it’s lonely for Gojo. Keeping an inch between him and the world.
Not an inch, a voice that sounds suspiciously like Shoko reminds him. Infinity.
But does it feel like infinity? When summer’s humidity swells to its peak, can Gojo feel the pressure? When a barrage of low-level curses ambushes them in Roppongi, can he sense their velocity, the twist of the wind? When Suguru grazes the immovable space between them - hands him a test paper, shoulders past him in the corridor, reaches out, unthinking, to slap him on the back – does Gojo know the warmth of Suguru's skin?
Then, on July 12th, in a sour-smelling alley in Katsushika ward, Suguru catches him. Hunched over, spindly legs crouched, a street-worn cat pressing her nose to his fingertips. It licks her sandpaper tongue over his knuckles. Rubs the flat of her forehead against his palm. Gojo hums, pushing a tangled cowlick back with his thumb, a serene little smile on his face.
Yes, Suguru thinks. It must be lonely.
(Trauma is complicated, brains are strange, and Satoru Gojo is not immune to either of these truths.)

Satoru prides himself on being a great teacher. Even if this student ends up being his last.
