    "Oh..sorry" Tim offered as his eyes greedily scanned her face. "Um, how are you?" He asked a moment later.

    "I've been better," Lucy answered softly. She glanced up at him, noting the dark circles under his eyes and the scruff on his face. "How are you?"

    "Yeah...um...good, I'm good," he stuttered, shoving his hands in his pockets awkwardly.

    "Great, glad you're good," she added in a clipped tone as she pushed past him and made her way to the motorpool to get her shop for the day.

    "Lucy, that's not what...." he trailed off, shaking his head at himself. Thorsen leveled him with some side eye before taking off after Lucy.
