Summary
All kids dream of a cool quirk, a loving family and a happily ever after.
But not everyone gets to live that dream.At the age of 4, Midoriya Izuku gets his quirk - but loses his mother. Or at least, he loses a part of her.
Afraid of his quirk, Midoriya Inko registers her son as quirkless and refuses to acknowledge it's existence. Whenever she sees anything related to his quirk, she makes it disappear. Filing nails, telling her son not to speak for a while, making him turn on the lights when he is in the same room as her at night, she lives in denial.
Midoriya Hisashi tries to be the best husband and father he can be. But when the two things oppose each other, he has to choose. Sometimes he chooses one, sometimes the other. Sometimes he chooses ignorance - but sometimes, he chooses to run.
After a particularily stressful day, Izuku can't take it anymore. It's up to our favourite hobo dad to save the little bird, and what better way to do that than abducting him (with the kids approval of course)!

Summary
Aizawa Shouta works too much. He hates his job. Not because he hates being a hero, but because he hates fighting the sludge of the city, he hates the hero commission, and he normally hates most other heroes. And if there is one thing that Shouta hates more than his job, it’s not being able to do something to help. Helping is just in his nature. So when he’s struck with a quirk that leaves him powerless to help a young boy in need, the hero is pissed.

Summary
If you asked, Izuku would say nobody truly knew him, and therefore he didn't give a flying fuck about anyone's opinion. Nobody knew that he skated across rooftops in the dead of night, or how he tinkered as a hobby, or how he loved stargazing, and could name constellations at the drop of a hat and that his biggest fear was some ungodly combination of thunderstorms and fire. That his favorite pet was a cat, that he cried during sad movies, or how his language consisted of sarcasm, dark jokes, vines, and the occasional self-depreciation. That, despite what many thought, he was content with the quirkless title, and despite all the bullying, suicide baiting, and torment he had gone through, he still believed that everyone deserved to be saved. He had seen things that most wouldn't even be able to stomach, and he would be damned if he let anyone else experience anything similar.
So, when he was told, "I'm sorry young man, but someone quirkless cannot become a hero."
He couldn't resist the urge to laugh.
Or, in which Izuku is supposedly schizophrenic, has a speech impediment, owns his own cafe, a vigilante side job, and Aizawa needs to learn to stop adopting strays.
