Ratio did not look up. "Probability can be constrained" he said. "Within a system of manufactured possibilities, randomness is limited."
Aventurine snorted. "Limited? That sounds suspiciously like faith dressed up in math."
"It is not faith" Ratio replied. "It is observation and model fitting. Given sufficient samples of a system's response, you can predict its behavior"

“Act like you own me” Aventurine repeated softly. “In every sense of the word… I want to be yours in every way you might think of, until I can’t think of anything else but pleasing you”
Ratio’s tone lowered, almost to a whisper. “You want to be reduced to nothing but a sex slave”
“You can say I’m experienced on it anyways” He gave a mocking blink to Ratio, even if he knew the scholar would never take such joke so lightly.

It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Summary
It's the kind of thing that should send off sirens in your mind, should make you immediately start running away as fast as your feet could carry you. It's a bad idea, a terrible idea in fact one that will sink you and bite you so hard in the ass you may never recover.
So when at three in the morning Minghao crashes through the door, the smell of vodka wafting through the air and grips Jun by the collar, begging him help me forget, Jun shoves him off, forces him to drink a gallon of water and carries him to bed.
That’s what he does the first time anyway.
