If it wasn’t for Jackie beside him, he would’ve flat-out refused the gig. Even with his best friend, he still had to be urged and argued with.
It wasn’t a truly difficult mission— get in, lure the target somewhere discrete, dispatch, and get out. Routine, even. The only difference between something Wakako would hand him and what he’s being asked now is a solid lump sum of $10,000 eddies.
But the catch?
This was a brothel, and the target was a frequent… investor. Jackie isn’t known for wooing women and men alike. V was more than uncomfortably acquainted in his rather androgynous appeal to both parties. So the only way to fit him in was as V’s pimp.

Josh is gone, lost in Blackwood Mountain, ALONE.
What he did was horrible, traumatizing. But. But he wasn't the worst thing on that mountain. They would have all walked away from that night without a scratch (physically) if not for Hannah and the other Wendigos. What he did pales in comparison. At least in Chris' mind. And he thinks about it. A lot.
He wants to bring him back. He does. He wants to bring him home. He wants to help, like he should have when Josh was breaking down. Does anyone else?
