Summary
Noé opened his eyes, licking at his salty tear stained lips as he looked down at his best friends innocently smooth shoulder. Even with how bleary his red tinted eyes were, they had become calculated — observing the naked shoulder with such skill you’d think he could see right through it.
After a rather erotic though and a heavily deepened blush, Noé gently rested his aching head on Vanitas exposed shoulder.
He could never do what he wanted to do so desperately right now.
Sink his fangs into the warm flesh of his best friend.
He only needed a shoulder to cry on tonight.

Summary
What should be an easy confrontation with some chasseurs devolves into something much more than Noé had anticipated- the flashbang weapon the chasseurs carry upon themselves seems to have been significantly developed since the last time Noé had encountered it, and it leaves him bedridden for several days.
Or: yet another one of my Vanitas looking after hurt Noé fics.

Dante shakes his head.
“Something’s really wrong with Noé.”
—-
The horrifyingly familiar urge to drink blood returns, and Noé doesn’t know what to do.
Vanitas is out at lunch with Jeanne, who is, little to Noé’s knowledge, experiencing a similar crisis.
Noé really doesn’t know how long he’s going to be able to handle this for.
