Summary
It is hectic. Chaotic, even.
The West Seattle Bridge has collapsed, and Maya has lost count of how many stations have responded. It has to be at least a three-alarm fire, but the devastation sprawls so far, so deep, that a fourth wouldn’t surprise her. Fires rage in pockets, licking at the wreckage. Cars are crushed, overturned, submerged. Some barely cling to the edge, teetering between steel and water.
Red and blue lights paint the twisted remains, sirens wailing, voices shouting. The air is thick with smoke and the acrid scent of burning fuel. Station 5 is in the water with their boat, pulling out whoever they can, but too many lifeless bodies have already been brought to shore. Too many empty, unblinking eyes stare back at her, and Maya knows, knows, that the count will only grow.

Summary
If you follow me on Twitter you know this one shot gave me trouble lol. But I think I finally got it the way I wanted it. It's basically Maya and Carina processing somethings from Christmas in their pasts and enjoying Liam's first Christmas. I'll forever be upset we missed out on all these moments of family time with them. It's just heartbreaking to me, so I want to write some of them(Also I don't care what they did on the show, Carina would never get rid of her porsche, so it will never leave my fics lol). Sorry this one is late but I hope you enjoy it!
On an unrelated note, I got some positive response to the chapters of the new fic I've been brainstroming. So after the first of the year, I'll get started writing on some new chapters for it and hopefully have something up soon.
