"Coward King Karl Fritz Intercepted at Sea!”
These were the words read by almost every human inside of the newly proclaimed Marleyan nation. Eldian remnants wept and let the newspapers flutter to the ground while Marleyans across the continent paraded in the streets. The Marleyan uprising had been a resounding success, much more than Karl Fritz or the Tyburs could have ever planned for. With no Founding Titan to construct the walls, Marley could truly flourish without the worry of the devils on Paradis island returning for their revenge.
A century of Marleyan hegemony has expanded the empire beyond what their tireless bureaucrats can manage. Time has given way to amazing and terrible breakthroughs, advancements that the aging Marleyan regime can barely handle. The once indomitable super power was now showing weakness, and all players on the world stage were ready to pounce. Life as an Eldian within their borders is merciless and brief, the only solace being that anywhere else and they'd have been killed. All they know is the state, and it's utter hatred for them. All they can do is answer the Marleyan call.

Summary
After Jake's funeral, Finn is in a depressive slump. The fact that Ooo has been uncharacteristicly peaceful isn't helping matters. When Finn gets a call from Jake's son, Kim Kil Whan, he learns that he isn't the only one struggling.
