La cosa con Gojo Satoru era que él era el más fuerte.
¿Era el más fuerte por ser Gojo Satoru? ¿O era Gojo Satoru por ser el más fuere?
Eso era algo tan intrínseco en él que nunca pensó que se fuera a ir alguna vez.
Y, sin embargo, pasó.
Fue un accidente. No se arrepentía, sin embargo.
El porqué de cómo pasó esto... Veréis, Satoru murió (por segunda vez). Y luego volvió despertarse vivo. Un mero bebé, el que había sido antes de que siquiera vieran que tenía los Seis Ojos.
Pero no podía ver a Suguru por ninguna parte con sus Seis Ojos, así que Satoru se negó a abrir sus ojos y el mundo le dio su deseo.
Si no quería ser el más fuerte, el mundo se lo concedería con la mejor habilidad que pudiera. Sus ojos no se abrieron, así que el cielo tampoco se abrió.
Satoru nació, según el clan Gojo, con reservas de Energía Maldita bastante grandes pero sin poder abrir los ojos. Eso era un gran defecto y, en comparación, su perfecto medio hermano era el mejor candidato a heredero.
Satoru cambió su destino. Ya no tenía por qué ser el más fuerte del mundo.
O a lo mejor lo seguía siendo, pero nadie más que los que deberían lo sabían. Y ya no tenía por qué soportar el peso del mundo.

“Yuuji,” Satoru voices, testing out the syllables. “It’s a good name. But persisting benevolence doesn’t really suit you, does it?”
“Doesn’t it?”
“You are the King of Curses,” Satoru points out drily. “They also called you All the World’s Evil.”
“I remember,” says the man with a voice too soft and eyes too warm to suit either moniker. “After all, I lived it. But I prefer my name.”
“Wouldn’t the big bad boogeyman of sorcerers prefer a scarier name?” Satoru flashes Yuuji his best shit-eating grin and is rewarded with a twitch in that studiedly pleasant expression. “Presentation is important, you know.”
“Is it,” Yuuji drawls, sarcasm cutting through the toothless softness of his voice. “My name was given to me with love. That alone makes it superior to the ones formed from fear.”
“How romantic,” Satoru says automatically, dissecting this new information. “That wasn’t in the history books.”
“But you knew my name.”
“Oh, the name is there. The love isn’t. Who loves a monster so sweetly?”
“Why don’t you tell me?”
Satoru has a late-night philosophical discussion with the King of Curses.
