    Summary

Rhaenyra, heir of the realm, is known by most as an Alpha reveling in debauchery alongside her uncle.

Helaena is a peculiar girl regarded by most as strange or simple minded.

Fate bringing these two lonely girls together will irrevocably change Rhaenyra's outlook on her duties and the way she'll approach rumours about an eventual usurpation of her throne.

    Summary

Shauna hates the rain, she hates Alphas, and she hates courtship week. But above all, she hates the way Jackie Taylor makes her feel disposable. When a violent, rain-drenched night throws Lottie Matthews into her arms, Shauna discovers that maybe she doesn't hate the rain, she doesn't hate being an Alpha... and maybe, just maybe, she doesn't hate courtship week after all.

    Summary

The Valyrian Freehold rules over the near breath of Essos, its Dragon riders leading armies ever eastward across the bone mountains in never ending wars with the Ibbenese, the Jogos Nhai, and even as far as the Golden Empire of Yi Ti, all for the greatest treasures of the world. Yet for a second son of a small discraced family such as the Targaryans, there is still plenty of coin to be made in Westeros, where petty kings and lords squabble in their wars of succession, and there are no dragons in the skies but Daemon’s, his wife Aemma’s, and their daughter Rhaenyra’s.

Now, following the death of the last Gardener King, the Reach has been plunged into civil war, and fresh contracts are abound, with Rhaenyra’s father sending her to scout out the conflict by taking a contract with the neutral Lord Peake, or at least he was neutral before a Hightower army parked itself outside Starpike’s walls, trapping her and her men inside.

    Or

Rhaenyra is a mercenary who's captured by the Hightowers, and Alicent is fascinated by her... for political reasons only, of course.
