Her partner notices a grim shadow settling over the woman's face. He quietly offers her a hand. She takes it, and whispers, voice small, "You know, I tried telling one of them they weren't real. You'd think that a figment of my imagination would just take it."
"Mhm." His calloused thumb sweeps comfortingly over the back of her hand. "They didn't take it well?"
A sad smile kisses the corner of her lips. "No, he didn't. He told me to never come back if I was so convinced they weren't real."
"They have names, right? What's his?"

“Ambassador?” You ask.
You see him walk into a room, leaving the door open. You sigh and follow him in and see him slumped on the bed with a blanket half-heartedly thrown his legs. He looks like shit. He always looks tired, but it’s worse than normal. He also smells like an entire bar, which isn’t a good sign
“What happened to you?” you ask.
“Fuck knows,” he grumbles into his sheets.
You roll your eyes and walk over to him, yanking the blanket off of him, “wake up sleeping beauty.”
“Fuck off,” he says, lifting his face and turning it to the side to face you. “What are you doing at my house at four in the morning?” he questions, not even bothering to open his eyes look at you.
“Erwin called me to come get you ready to be arrested. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that would you?” you scowl at him.
His eyes shoot open and he sits up. He runs a hand through his messy hair before looking to you, “What are you talking about?”
