Written SPECIFICALLY because my Toh Hyperfixation is coming back full force, this thing hasn't been around since Watching And Dreaming came out! V
Post TOH finale where the collector ends up spending their time learning from inhabitants of other planets in the universe, trying to "Grow Up", and meeting friends along the way. But, along the way, They eventually cross paths with a certain group, older than them and once considered family, what do the archivists do when they find their youngest, so long after they left them for dead, just beginning to grow and oh so different from how they left the young star?
Ps: First time posting on AO3, so uh, sorry if anythings weird! And I'm also not the most experienced writer so the story might not be the best :]

Summary
A child is lost at sea, and in one reality they'd find themselves trading hands between various creatures, eventually found in a forest by a dog couple. In that reality, the child is raised by loving parents until their death, before finding himself living with his brother-in-all-but-blood. He goes on wacky adventures, discovers secrets about the world and his own origins, falls in love and breaks his heart. He becomes a Hero, known across the land for his acts both large and small.
In this reality, that child, bobbing along in their basket in the balmy tropical waters, disappears into streams of rainbow light, reappearing in the chilling, frosty waters of the Ice Kingdom Coast. The shock of the cold sends them crying out, catching the attention of the nearby penguins fishing for their next meal. What might happen when the starting board of the game of Ooo is reshuffled? What pattern will the threads of fate weave now?
