"Are you okay to be alone?" Derap asked, snapping Zam from his trance, ripping his gaze away from the landscape. Derap waited awkwardly as he shifted against the grass underfoot.
Maybe Zam could tell him, let himself be selfish for one moment, like Derap kept pushing him to be. Maybe he'd take care of himself for once, "No. Please stay."

Summary
The blinding white light shone through the branches of willow trees onto the pair. a deafening ring pierced the alive’s ears and fell silently to the dead’s.
The world paused.The next thing Jumper remembers is the sting of rocks on her hands and knees, and the sound of Minute’s breath. The world begins to focus as Jumper paces her breath and steadies her racing heart. The scene around her is not the makeshift pyre she built for Minute, the whole world feels different to the touch.
But there’s no time to focus on the soil beneath her nails, Minute is alive. She crashes the full weight of her body into the taller, embracing him as she sobs.
“Minute! You ’re-you’re alive!” Jumper exclaims between tearful hiccups.The boy tenses in her grip, pushing the bright colors away from his monotone.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?”
Minute looks scared.

Summary
A mission gone wrong causes Jumper to crash land on a seemingly abandoned planet. However while exploring she stumbles upon a lifeless and damaged robot who she saves and fixes up. The robot, named Minute, doesn't really know who he is or how he got there, clinging to fragments of memories of the life he lost. Jumper has always longed for adventure and now it seems one has landed right in her hands. Together the two go on adventures, exploring the universe but there are dark forces at work, that will upend the lives of Jumper and Minute in ways they never could have imagined.
Timejump sci-fi au based on the events of season 5 of lifesteal.
