After Wonka's death, the golden ticket winners get together again six years later when Charlie offers Mike and the others a cure for their... unfortunate conditions. They must live in the factory together and learn how to get along, at least until the cure works and they can all forget this ever happened. Mike wants more than anyone to get this over with, but stupid Charlie Bucket keeps clouding all his thoughts. He finds out the long way that he doesn't really mind.
Based on the 2005 movie with some components from the 2001 screenplay and the odd reference to other iterations.

Kaoru knew it was good for Hikaru to get close to other people. He just doesn't know what he'll do once Hikaru has fully grown, fully moved on. All he knew was that Hikaru needed more than Kaoru alone could offer. He deserved better than what Kaoru could give.
