Summary
This work was originally called "The One Where Chihiro Comes Back," but I officially abandoned it because I wasn’t satisfied with how the story was unfolding. However, after many years, I decided to revisit it and create something I'm passionate about. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

Chihiro Ogino is a young environmental engineer preparing to embark on her first major project: the restoration of the Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi River. But unbeknownst to her—having no memory of her time in the Spirit World—something is stirring beneath the surface, something ancient and ruthless, and Chihiro is at the heart of it.
As allies and enemies alike close in around her, she must navigate a world where trust is fragile, power is dangerous, and the line between love and destruction is thinner than she ever imagined.*
Note:
Given the age of Chihiro, who is a young woman in this story and no longer a child, the themes will include darker topics and depict a more complex spirit world than the movie, while still striving to preserve and pay homage to the fantastical yet eerie setting of Miyazaki’s original work.
