“So?” John stared at his best friend. “So you can’t say that you want to take in a child based solely on the fact that the letter left with him is fascinating to you."

Summary
A “probably, maybe, most likely” post-vol 7 version Oscar time travel fic where he tries to prevent the Fall of Beacon and maximize his future knowledge against Salem by attending Beacon and trying to get past-Ozpin on his side. The trouble is… he doesn’t know the key pieces for how Beacon fell in the first place and time is running out.
If you like the concept of Ozdad and slowburn rosegarden, this is probably the fic for you.

Oscar thought he was going to die as he fell from the Relic Chamber in Atlas, only to find himself waking up in his own bed, back on the farm. With no voice in his head, old scars now fresh, and the certainty that all he could remember was real, he sets out to try to change things.
Ozpin finds himself fixated on a single name and the feeling of falling. There is something missing but he can't tell what.

Summary
Shot out of the vault Oscar is severely injured and sent into the past. Found by one of the huntsman of Beacon he is brought to a local doctor. A blood test reveals something that neither he nor the once constant companion he had in his head. Upon returning to consciousness he has to figure out a way for his past not to come into fruition.
