Summary
Ryu Rumi carries her mother's legacy at Sunlight2Sundown Formula 1 team, and though she had been practicing under Celine's guidance since she was a child, this past racing season was her second on the grid.
After helping Sunlight2Sundown win the Constructor's Championship (the team-based award), Rumi earns an end-of-year break in South Korea with her race engineer Zoey, her clever best friend and master of all things car.
Rumi thought she knew Zoey; trustworthy, dependable, a pillar in her life. But Rumi discovers that there is more to that bubbly smile and sweet voice she listened like radio when racing.
Zoey wasn't just hiding her wild side. She was hiding someone else as well.

Summary
Mira snorts—she knows they're just joking. "So, what game is this?" She gestures to the board in front of her.
"Ah-" Rumi puts the wrinkled manual on the table and slides it to Mira. "It's Monopoly…?"
Mira frowns while analyzing the setup. "So this is Monopoly…"
Rumi arches an eyebrow. "You never really played it before?"
"Not really, no. I've heard of it before, though."
"Monopoly's like—one of the biggest board games ever. A classic," Zoey comments. "You never played with your family before?"
Mira takes the metallic token in the shape of a race car to see it from up close. "Not really. My parents travel a lot, so quality time is pretty rare."
"Oh." Rumi lets scape, as both she and Zoey look at her, wide-eyed.
OR
Zoey and Rumi are players, because they play board games. Mira is a player, because she plays with people's feelings.

Summary
"Is she seriously planning to do this all day?" Mira started.
"More like all week. I've noticed her lights are still on for longer after we get back from jobs. Usually I'm the one pulling all-nighters." Zoey continued with worry in her tone.
"Oh no, absolutely not. I'm not spending my weekend holed up in this place because she decided to become a nerd now." Mira was about to raise herself from the bed but Zoey's hand caught her, stopping her mid-movement. She looked back to complain, only to be met with a mischievous grin. Mira sat back again, leaning close to Zoey and lending her an ear. With a quick whisper, Mira was licking her lips in anticipation.
OR
Rumi is still overworking herself even after saving the Honmoon, and Mira and Zoey decide to bet on who can make her leave the computer first.
