The fact that Seonghwa was a virgin was not an issue at all in itself, but it kind of was one in this particular context. Hongjoong wasn't lying when he said he got pretty aggressive in his ruts - he liked rough sex as a norm, but it was particularly hard to avoid while he was deep into the daze.
Losing your virginity to a stranger alpha in rut sounded like an extremely bad idea.
He had almost texted the omega to cancel everything when he had come to the sudden realization of his lack of experience, but he hadn’t. Hongjoong would like to think it's because of a noble reason, but the truth is that there was actually nothing honorable behind his reasoning.
He just wanted to fuck Seonghwa. Plain and simple.
(Or: Hongjoong is an alpha looking for the right partner to spend his rut with in a niche heat hookup app and Seonghwa is an omega who is pretending not to be a virgin even though he is because he wants to get railed by an alpha in rut.)

Back in his teenage years - which admittedly isn’t too long ago, he’s only twenty-three - he struggled with his self image. He had issues with how his skin looked, his weight, even the way his hair looked, and it led him to more than a few unhealthy diets. But once he hit college, once he had the idea of camming, his view on himself started to change drastically. And he knows he’s cute now, knows so many people find him attractive. But the fact that he can find himself attractive is the biggest plus of all.
