The Reminiscences of Martin Blackwood, Post Mortem by AuralQueer

Summary
Martin Blackwood is a reporter for The Observer newspaper. He’s a normal enough man, and he’d like to keep it that way. He doesn’t have much reason to suspect anything too far out of the ordinary when he heads down to University College Hospital on a hunch to visit the man who may or may not be dead.
The man’s name is Jonathan Sims: a failed academic by all accounts, though what he’d been doing before the explosion that threw him into a six month coma is at the mercy of baseless public speculation. Now he’s lying in an empty ward with no heartbeat, dreaming.
It seems like enough to fill a slow news day.
A Victorian AU. Herein lies artistic licence, ghosts, and the slowest burn you ever did see.

Summary
There's nothing wrong with Jonathan Sims. He's an ordinary student, who may be a little bit in love with Georgie Barker, and the biggest thing he has to worry about is his exams. His relationship with his grandmother is fine, and he has no strong feelings about Christmas.
Georgie disagrees.
Five years later, there's nothing wrong with Martin Blackwood. He's an ordinary researcher at the Magnus Institute, and the biggest thing he has to worry about is his job. His relationship with his mother is fine, and he has no strong feelings about Christmas.
Jon disagrees. And he knows what it's like, now, to need someone. So he decides to be there for Martin.
A pre-canon AU fic about Jon, Martin, and their respective relationships with home and family.

Summary
People don't really touch Jonathan Sims unless they want to hurt him. That's mostly fine. Jon has never been a tactile person, and he doesn't need anyone but himself.
Except the world is falling down around him, and loneliness aches, and sometimes he'll take anything - even cruelty - just to feel human again.
*A story set between s1 and s4, looking at Jon's relationship with touch, friendship, and his own humanity.

Bad Things Happen Bingo: "Doesn't Realise They've Been Injured"
“We did it! We won! Jon, I - ,” whatever Martin had been about to say falls from his lips with his laugh as he looks at Jon. “What’s wrong?” He’s running his eyes over Jon, sharp and calculating in his worry, and when he sees nothing: because Jon is, impossibly, uninjured - Martin turns to look around them at the battlefield, through the drifting smoke. Jon steps forward. He needs to speak. He needs to say something. Anything.
But he can’t.
Martin turns back to him again, and his frown is deeper. There are smudges of oil and ash on his cheeks and his hair is a tangled mess and the air is sour with the acrid smell of burning plastic and they won, and that should be enough.
But then Martin looks down, following Jon’s panicked stare, and he sees the twisted lance of coal and plastic and steel protruding from his abdomen. Martin looks up, and his smile wavers. “Oh. Right.”

Bad Things Happen Bingo Prompt: "Hiding an Injury"
The thing about having a broken ankle was that, in Jon’s opinion, no one really needed to know about it. It wasn’t like he spent much of his time running around the Archives. These days, most of what he needed seemed to find its way to his office, and he could hobble the few steps needed to retrieve any particularly awkward tapes. They weren’t going to be going on another field trip any time soon, and there was no one outside of the Institute who particularly cared whether he lived or died (Jon resolutely ignores the voice in the back of his head that quietly insists Georgie would). The point was: a broken ankle wasn’t such a great inconvenience when he spent most of his days sitting down anyway. It would heal, too fast for a doctor to comprehend, and he’d get better and it would just be an unnecessary fuss.

Summary
“Go, Mob, melt it!” screeches Reigen, and Mob extends his hand, already coated with the swirling blue discs of his aura. Only-
Only he can’t exorcise the spirit, because there isn’t one, and the boy is staring at him with wide blue eyes. His hand is glowing the same yellow as the basket.

Summary
Her mum taught her that sailors used the stars for navigation, out at sea. They could never get lost, because the stars would always lead them where they needed to be, steady and changeless. Daisy could use some direction these days. For all these years the Hunt, the thrill of the chase, the pulse in her ears, that was the star she followed. Her true north wherever it led her. Now she doesn’t even recognize the constellations anymore.
She’s not a detective, and she’s not a hunter. She’s not sure she’s anything.
*
Daisy finds her way.
