“Kind of,” Mike says, and then, “well no, not about the weather specifically. I just– I wanted to talk to you.”
“Oh.” And Will looks a lot more surprised at this, actually, than the idea that Mike might have just wanted to come to his room to make small talk about unseasonably frigid California winters. “Okay. What about?”
“Anything.” The response is embarrassingly immediate. “Everything. I don’t know. I missed you.”

Summary
Eddie whirls back on him, “I get it; they were your family first. But I’m the one who is leaving, I’m the one who has to say goodbye. I have to pack up my life, move across the country, and go to a place I hate, and try to make peace with people who have abused me my whole life. I’m the one who is losing all of you, and all they are worried about is protecting and babying you. And I’m fucking doing the same thing. I’m here scared out of my mind, and all I am worried about is you being upset.” Eddie shakes his head. “I’m the one who has to walk away from you,” he said, looking directly at Buck, his voice trembling.
“Eddie…” Buck says, his voice breaking.
“Don’t … Buck don’t…”
“Don’t what, Eddie?”
"Don’t let me leave like this,” Eddie whispers, his voice barely audible. His hand, trembling slightly, reaches out to Buck’s uniformed chest. With a gentle, yet determined motion, he slides his finger between the buttons, tugging Buck closer. Buck's heart races as he instinctively wraps his strong arms around Eddie's tense frame, pulling him into a tight embrace. The two friends find solace in each other, holding on to each other if they were the other's lifeline.

"I don't fucking care if they think we're fucking married with fucking kids and a fucking shih tzu as long as you tell them it's fucking consensual," Roy grumbles. "Taking advantage, Jesus shitfucking Christ."
"Well." Rebecca sits down at her desk. "I really should set up a meeting with the PR team to talk some sense into you, but frankly I find this far too entertaining to stand in your way. They're waiting in the press room, go on down and tell them whatever you like." She picks up her phone. "Higgins? Bring me popcorn immediately."
