Yoshikaru Week 2025, Day 1: Dorodoro
Finally after what feels like several minutes (but was likely closer to 10 mortifying seconds) the first knuckle of your index finger grazes something hard. You practically lunge for it, grasping it tightly before you can lose track of it again. The sudden movement causes Hikaru's entire body to tense up and you're sure you feel drool start to seep into the fabric over the shoulder of your other arm.
("It's the weekend," he'd said. "Who wears a backpack on the weekend?" Like he's some kind of expert on what's socially acceptable... but at the end of the day, you suppose you're just as much of an idiot for listening to him.)
Or: Yoshiki and Hikaru sneak snacks into a movie theater.

Summary
Yoshiki was starting to sweat like crazy, the heat pressing down on him so hard it felt like he couldn’t breathe. He unbuttoned his shirt clumsily, peeling his arms out of the damp fabric, the cotton sticking to his skin as he pulled it off.
“Ya...” he let out a tired yawn, the warmth making his whole body heavy and slow.
Something shifted off to his right but he was too out of it to care. His eyes were starting to blur, and the heat was dragging him under like a blanket he couldn’t shake off.
“YO, ITS LIKE WATERMELON SEEDS ON YO’ BODY!” Hikaru voiced from the floor

Yoshiki is insecure about his moles, and Hikaru expresses his appreciation for them in a rather...interesting way.

“Eye cream?” he says finally and Ivan watches in horror as his expression teeters on the edge of confusion before it pitches into understanding. “Oh my god, it’s because…” Till’s laugh interrupts his own sentence and Ivan’s stuck oscillating between wanting to die from mortification and transcending into another plane at the beauty of the noise.
“I look like shit, don’t I?” Till says, running one hand through his hair and all Ivan can think is no, no, no, you look like the most beautiful person alive because it’s true, even with the sweatshirt tied loose around his waist and the two hours of sleep written on his skin.

It’s odd. I usually wouldn’t hesitate to speak my mind, but every time I try to say it my throat closes up, and my heart beats uncomfortably fast, threatening me with a heart attack at 16.
But not tonight. I don’t care if I have to cheat death, the second he’s free from his fan-students or whoever the annoyingly loud people over there are, I’m dragging him out of that gymnasium door. And here he comes.
