This fic starts in 133AC, nearly four years into Rhaenyra's reign. The Dance did not occur. Rhaenyra served as her father's hand for the last three years of his reign, astutely positioning herself to gain influence and aptitude before attempting to claim the throne. When Viserys passes, both Helaena and Daeron side with the Blacks, fracturing the Greens and destroying their hope to usurp Rhaenyra. Aegon and Aemond fled King's Landing, hopping around sympathetic castles in the South. Alicent and Otto 'retired' to Oldtown. Still, 129-130 was a confusing year for the smallfolk and nobility. This is Joffrey’s story navigating the aftermath.

Summary
Their force bond grew stronger over last year since Crait and it's hard to resist each other. They've met on the battle field several times, but neither can get an advantage. Until one battle, when Kylo gets the upper hand and captures Rey. Snoke wants the location of the resistance bases, but Kylo doesn't want to torture Rey. Eventually, (i suck at summaries that don't have spoilers) they convince each other to abandon both sides of the war. Rey and Ben/Kylo make a life for themselves on an insignificant mid-rim moon, away from civilization, on an island. They have a family and are content.
But Palpatine rages at his once again missing granddaughter. Rey still not knowing her parentage is oblivious. They're soon sucked back into the seemingly endless struggle between the sith and jedi.

After the Battle of Exegol, war is limited to isolated planet-side skirmishes and the galaxy is at peace. Rey Skywalker is hailed a hero across the galaxy. Former Supreme Leader Kylo Ren is dead. Ben Solo, redeemed only to some, lives in exile beyond the outer rim and the reach of the Republic. Together, on the Wild Space planet Zakuul, they establish a school for force sensitives, the Followers of Bogan and Ashla, named for the light and dark moons of Tython. The powerful force wielders' affair has become an open secret in the ten years since the war. Rey travels the galaxy, aiding reconstruction wherever she is called with the help of her trainees. Ben rarely leaves Zakuul, studying ancient texts and mentoring force sensitives. But, the universe is shifting again. The force is oscillating away from balance as a new presence makes itself known. A vision sends Rey and her friends to the Core to find answers.
