Julian actually thought he might be taller than his husband—hard to tell when the only time they had ever met, Jaskier was kneeling at his feet during the ceremony, veiled from the top of his head, down to his feet, before being whisked away to his lord and husband’s rooms to await him, not to the feast being held downstairs to celebrate his union—and… it shouldn’t be funny, but it was in a way.
The mighty Northern king (did they call them kings here? He honestly wasn’t sure, but should most likely find out), the White Wolf (the meaning for that nickname had been apparent even with what little he could see through his veils), conqueror of the Four Realms, alpha to end all alphas—-with an omega mate who was taller than him.

Summary
Jaskier’s ex-boyfriend and bandmate just dumped him to pursue a solo career. Valdo can go screw himself, but Jaskier has too much self respect to argue with someone who clearly doesn’t want him and too much class to make a scene even if (or maybe because) Valdo expects it. Telling the other man to fuck off in the language of flowers instead sounds like a good idea when he’s drunk at 3am in his now empty apartment.
Walking into a flower shop the next day, he expects to be laughed at or humored. What he’s not expecting is for the brooding man behind the counter to take him seriously. He wasn’t expecting Geralt at all or his complicated life and how well Jaskier would fit into it.

Geralt – pressed for time as the sun was already setting – rolled his eyes and apparently decided he did not need a discussion, because he said: “Each of the last eleven nights, a human died, and all of them were lonely or unhappily in love. Your lack of sexual and romantic fulfilment makes you a target. And I don’t want you hurt.”
“My lack of-”, Jaskier sputtered. “What the…?”
“Trust me”, Geralt cut him off. “You know I know best, and you know I want you safe, right?”

Jaskier is pining for Geralt. Then one day Geralt confesses his love, and Jaskier's as well while he's at it. But he has no intentions to act on his feelings. Jaskier decides this calls for a good old-fashioned seduction.
This has some semblance of plot, a lot of dialogue and gratuitous smut.
I got inspired reading TinyThought's marvellous How I would kiss you, but there is no connection between the works content wise.

While he had slowly, luxuriously broken the foot that had touched his precious bard, he had still been thinking of Jaskier’s petting hands on this very ankle, and it had made him livid with fury and arousal.
He had watched the assassin hobble away, his back to Jaskier while he tried to reign in his breathing and understand what the hell was going on in his head. He did not want to hurt Jaskier. Didn’t want to break him, not completely. But the thought of hurting him – scratching his surface, making him splinter just a little… it made his blood boil.

When an assassin attacks Jaskier, it stirs up fantasies of violence in Geralt. To keep the brutal new imaginings in check, the Witcher distances himself from his lover, but of course Jaskier is not having it.
a.k.a.: Sexual education at Kaer Morhen is spotty at best, so nobody told Geralt about consensual kink.

And yet?
He still learned how to dance, despite having given up the dream. It started with Jaskier of course, like most misadventures and novel undertakings.

Like he was staring up at her from underwater, stern brow shifting with the ripples.
“Julian. You will marry the Warlord, and you will not try to escape. You will act exactly as expected of a person in your station,” she intoned, the words sewn together like tight stitches.
