In this AU, Luz had recently returned to the Boiling Isles after a few years of being back in the human realm. Luz learned more about how humans can do magic and quickly discovered how similar they are to the first witches of the Boiling Isles. Luz made a connection to nature. Luz is an alpha but takes suppressants for [some reason?]. Eda knows she's an alpha but everyone else thinks she's a beta. Eda is alpha mom. Camilia is omega mom. Lilith is omega aunt/mom? Amity and Willow are omegas and Gus is a beta. Sisters bonding during tragic times. Amity finds human magic interesting and strange, much like Luz, though it doesn't take her long to realize something changed in Luz. 'Why is she so jumpy lately'. Both will do some healing and deep bonding. Everyone will find their home and their found family <3

In this AU, Luz disappeared. She went missing after she tried to free Eda from petrification. Lilith helped Eda and King escape and shared the curse when they got to the Owl House. Amity saw them escape on the Crystal Ball-TV thing, Willow and Gus obviously saw everything in person, but NO ONE saw what happened to Luz, NO ONE saw where she went. Everyone assumed she got out, but after a few days, they began searching, no luck…
…four years after the disappearance of the beloved human, Belos declares to have an heir that will hunt down the Owl Lady and co.

Luz woke up in a strange bed, strange house, and strange people calling her ‘Mittens’? The world didn’t make any sense, and when she looked in the mirror, she didn’t look like herself either.
“What’s going on? Where am I? This must be a dream…right?”
Amity woke up to an annoyingly loud sound coming from a rectangle flashing the words, “Late for school”. Amity was confused at first…
“Is this some sort of prank Boscha made? Or maybe the twins and their illusion magic? No matter, I’m not going to let them get the best of me this time…”
But…there is a darkness brewing on the horizon, will our characters stop it? Will they survive the war?

The smile was not the same. It felt… heavy, burdened, and it sent a bolt of guilt straight through Amity’s chest.
