    This is what Zane notices about them. He also notices that while Kai is quick to anger, it seems to be an act, or at the very least, he is calm in most scenarios. He excels in training where Zane, Cole, and Jay fall behind, learning quickly and implementing newfound skills in battle as though they’re second nature.

    The most interesting thing, Zane finds, is how even though all signs point to him being the kind of person to panic when in a stressful situation, Kai never does.

    (This set earlier in the show, I'm thinking somewhere in s1, so they're not quite as close yet. Their personalities were slightly different compared to modern ninjago (Cole was a bit more distant and introverted, Kai was a bit more serious and grumpy. I tried to capture that but I’m not quite sure if that worked alright. :,) )
