Summary
They had started playing games of xiangqi on a lark weeks ago. A heavenly demon noble had presented a beautiful stone chessboard to Luo Binghe as a gift, with the most exquisitely carved jade pieces Shen Qingqiu had ever seen.
Perhaps Luo Binghe had seen him startle slightly at the sight from where he had been chained in a corner of his court, perhaps he hadn’t, but that very night he had been bathed with lotus petals and summoned for a game of xiangqi with Luo Binghe in the palace.
The foul beast had smirked while standing behind him, right before he sat down in front of the chessboard.
“Let’s play a little game, Shizun,” he’d breathed into Shen Qingqiu’s ear. “Let’s discuss the spoils of war.”
When Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu play xiangqi, the winner tops.

Summary
Luo Binghe had engaged in a sex ritual with his Shizun in order to repel an army of demons and save the Qing Jing Peak they lived on.
Luo Binghe wanted to say he wasn’t guilty about what he had done, not at all. It needed to be done to preserve many lives, and it had worked.
Only, he was concerned about the revenge Shen Qingqiu had to be planning.
Luo Binghe had to be the ritual participant because of his demonic heritage. Shouldn’t Shen Qingqiu have told someone by now that Luo Binghe was part demon?
But instead, Shen Qingqiu had behaved weirdly afterward. He had Luo Binghe move into the bamboo house he lived in. Either it was so Luo Binghe could be in easy reach for revenge, or he had boned Shen Qingqiu too hard and he somehow sustained brain damage.
