Since last night, Kaito had started feeling unwell: dizzy, tired, perhaps simply exhausted. Unable to continue studying, he went to sleep, hoping to feel better in the morning.
But that didn't happen. Obviously. He woke up with an unbearable headache, sweating, feeling like he was burning alive. He closed his eyes, a loud ringing deafening his ears. He doesn't remember exactly what happened, but he does know that his mother visited his room and checked him over, saying that he had a fever and that she would inform the principal.
