As Ed took a step towards the tree, he felt like he was being watched. He turned around and saw a flash of blond hair hid behind a tree. He took a step towards the tree, peering around it.
A kid. That was Ed’s first thought as he took in the blond-haired kid in the armor(?) and cloak.
His second thought as the kid noticed him and began to run away was that the kid had bright red eyes and pointy ears. Ed stood there for a moment as he stared after the kid, tilting his head.

Summary
Hunter knew there was no Titan, even if everyone else on the Island he was born on didn't. But he was still loyal to the man who had created him despite that.
But when he learns of a rebellion, people inside of the cult who were planning to destroy the cult from the inside out... he found himself unable to tell his uncle and creator of it. Because the more he listened in on their conversations, the more he learned of the rebellion...
The more he agreed with them. So... he decided to help, decided to help the cult he was raised within be destroyed once and for all...
even if it meant he would be punished just as terribly as his uncle, actually, he deserved worse.
Because as a grimwalker, he was nothing more than an extension of the man who had created him. And he deserved to suffer a fate much worse than whatever was given to the man who created him.

Summary
For hundreds of years, Hunter has served as the Golden Guard: the Right Hand of the Emperor and the Sword and Shield of the Boiling Isles. His duty is first to serve and obey his Emperor and second to guard and protect the citizens of the Boiling Isles. Those were the oaths he swore when accepting the mantle of Golden Guard and he has strove faithfully to uphold them ever since.
For hundreds of years, Hunter has watched his uncle lose himself more and more to a dark and deadly curse. He swore no oath to stop it and Uncle would never ask him to. But then, he never needed to. Hunter decided long ago he would find a way to free his uncle, no matter the cost.
And if that means working part time for the most notorious criminal on the Boiling Isles and being dragged on idiotic adventures by a human who is way too enamored with wild magic? Then Hunter can manage to swallow his pride and suffer their chaotic shenanigans.
After all, it's just until he finds a way to break the curse.

"Y-You wh-wh-wh-what?" Ava has seen Odin in all shades of pink, red, a few white, and even a few shades of green, namely, when he'd been mixing drinks. But she'd never seen him turn mauve.
"I........... bought... a strap-on."
A long pause stretches between them. Ava begins to mentally construct a list of nearby buildings from which to fling herself off of.
Odin seems to be regaining proper control of his lungs, a wheeze at a time.
"J-Jeez, Ava. Buy me d-dinner first."
"We're married, Odin."
