Summary
A decade after the end of the second Wizarding War, Theo Nott and Draco Malfoy, both Sr. Aurors, are thrust onto a peculiar Investigation. Assigned an old fashioned stakeout, the married couple plan to pass the time with carnal delights while they wait for movement on the case.
Hermione Granger has been absent from England’s Wizarding community for a ten years, slipping away quietly after graduation. Leaving the chaos of post-war magical society behind her. She obtains a dual mastery in muggle/ magical medicine and settles in France, delivering the next generation of magical children.
Theo and Draco have come a long way together, they are settled and happy with the life that they have built for themselves. But the complexities of this case and Hermione’s return to London threaten to disrupt their carefully constructed equilibrium.

Summary
In the immediate aftermath of the war, Theo and Draco are recruited by Kingsley to join a new team within the Ministry. After one last night with Hermione, they leave for training in Scotland. Seven months later, Hermione leaves London intent on joining them in the Highlands. She brings a little something extra with her.

“Um, here. Should be good, brewed them myself just in August before start of term”
“You still brew?”
“Of course, have to stay busy somehow on house arrest.”
Hermione held out her hand as his eyes met hers. Then he did something Hermione would never forget.
Malfoy grabbed her hand and placed the vials in her palm.
Green sparks behind her eyes again, her magic sung for a solid ten seconds before he released her hand.
Malfoy was staring at her, in his eyes, the clearest she had ever seen them, was a sense of awe.
Had he felt that as well?
