“It’s a rock,” the traveler supplied plainly, a hint of a question in her voice, “Why would he give you a rock?”
“I have no idea,” Childe responded. A laugh bursted out of his mouth, turning into a full blown fit. He couldn’t believe this- he hadn’t had a real conversation with Zhongli in weeks, and this was his solution to that? A fucking rock? He shook his head, trying to pull himself together. Zhongli was going to hear a piece of his mind, for sure. After calming down as much as he could, he offered a toothy smile to the traveler. “As much fun as this was, I think I’m going to go home now, girlie,” he said. They bid their goodbyes and went their separate ways, confusion tainting the air around them. Childe was going to get to the bottom of this.
