“Jack, wait –”
“Nah, none of that. Let me definitely see that there isn’t a baby currently in my living room. I know there’s not an infant inside my house.”
“Jack –” but Robby doesn’t try to stop him.
The baby sits in one of the carriers the hospital lends out, strapped in, clad in a white onesie with colorful ducks swimming across it. A pacifier clipped to the onesie sits in the crook of the baby’s arm, out of her mouth and probably the reason for fussing. Jack squats – a delicate balancing act with the crutch – and puts it back in her mouth. Her big blue eyes lock on to his face.
“How did you get here?” he asks, nonchalant and rhetorical.
“I strapped the carrier like a sidecar to the bike.”
Jack does not deviate his attention. “No, he sure fucking didn’t, did he? That would’ve been insane. Almost as insane as bringing you here in the first place.”Robby cannot resist helping someone in need; Jack cannot resist helping his best friend.

"Really?" Jack asked, mild surprise evident in his voice.
Robby sighed wearily, nodding softly.
"I haven't been able to… finish in a while." He admitted, gnawing on his bottom lip.
Jack's eyebrows lifted in shock, "really?" A sudden intrigue evident in his voice.
Robby shrank even further down into the back of the couch, embarrassment washing over him. With a high-pitched groan he covered his face with his hands.
"I don't even know why I'm telling you this…" He said, his voice muffled by his hands.
Robby has been having some problem getting himself to come, Jack helps him out a little... as a friend of course.
