Jack sat there facing her, his eyes dark and heavy, the corners of his lips turned upward slightly, a daring look on his face. He was handsome, with his graying curls and sturdy physique. Samira wasn’t one for being boy-crazy, but there was something about Jack Abbott that brought it out in her.
    Maybe it was the alcohol. Maybe it was the adrenaline.
    Whatever it was had pushed Samira over the edge. In an instant, she leaned over and closed the distance between them, her lips on his as she balanced her weight on her hands in front of her.
