Taiga hated heroes. Every last one of them.
Until Izuku Midoriya, Deku, Japan’s number four hero and apparently the most annoyingly sincere man alive started visiting his juvenile detention center.
Somewhere between getting his ass kicked without Midoriya even using his quirk, being dragged above the clouds for a life lesson, and realizing that the idiot actually kept coming back like he promised, Taiga made a terrible discovery:
He actually liked him.
So he started watching his fights on television, waiting impatiently for his visits and thinking about him constantly.
And then, unfortunately, he developed a massive crush.
There was just one tiny, insignificant problem.
Izuku Midoriya was married.
To fucking Dynamight.
Luckily, Taiga had determination, absolutely no intention of giving up, and an entire juvenile detention center full of morally questionable teenagers willing to help him steal another man’s husband.

Bakugo stills.
“You were the goal,” Izuku says, voice steady, like he’s explaining something simple. “Or—no. Not the goal. The standard.”
He lets out a small, almost embarrassed breath.
“I thought if I could keep up with you, if I could stand next to you, then that meant I was doing it right.”
Bakugo builds an agency. Midoriya learns how to teach.
After the war, everything keeps moving. rescue calls, training grounds, paperwork, late nights, crowded rooms, and the quiet moments in between where nothing is said and still everything is understood.
Some things end loudly. Others don’t end at all, just soften into distance, routine, and the spaces people keep finding themselves in.
Post-war life was supposed to be simpler than this.It would be, if wanting things stopped there.

All the while holding the taller’s hand and smiling like a ray of sunshine.
The first to fall victim to Midoriya’s shenanigans was Rock Lock. The lock-down hero eyed their interlocked fingers. “Your…Ex?”
Katsuki sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Yeah!” Izuku brightened. “My Ex-Rival, Ex-Villain, Ex-Best-Friend.”
“Oi.” Katsuki glared at the shorter at the last admission.
Green eyes blinked up at him. “What? That goes to Shoto and Ochako.”
Katsuki frowned down at him, not at all liking this turn of events.
“Besides.” The green-haired menace continued, unbothered. “Friends don’t make out with each other.”
You know what? Valid argument, move on.
