Summary
Max Verstappen is a cop and he has always prided himself on what he does. His life has been marred with loneliness and Max just assumed he was one of those guys who were doomed with melancholy. Having a bad father growing up to not really having lot of friends to finding family with three of his best friends, Max has found family.
There is one thing he is yet to find, love and it is something he has kept himself at arms length from. What will Max do when his father has set him up for an arrange marriage without his knowledge and now, he cannot refuse because a rejected marriage would mean societal disgrace for them.
This is Max, navigating his newly married life with his wife Charles and discovering life and love together.

Summary
Elias turns towards the door when Lewis pipes up. “Do you wanna do this again sometime?”, he asks, casually, like he’s asking if he thinks the weather is nice. Elias’ heart nearly jumps out of his chest and he tilts his head to the side, shrugs his shoulders with the same relaxation Lewis asked with. His heart is beating in his chest loud enough that Lewis might hear.
Maybe if he’d know he’s leading his heart to the gallows, Elias would say no. Shake his head politely, tell Lewis that this was fun though and wish him well before slipping out the door, so his heart only breaks a little instead of being shattered into a thousand pieces.
But Elias doesn’t know. So he just smiles and says: “Sure, man.”
Or: Elias Danzinger meets Lewis Hamilton at a random club in 2021 he’s performing at. It’s love at first sight for him when he locks eyes with the older man through the crowd. When their relationship falls apart three years later, Elias realizes it was loss at first sight, because Lewis might be the love of his life but Elias isn’t the love of his.
Because he isn’t Nico Rosberg.
