  Summary

  Satoru feels relief wash over him as his text sends, a quick surge of dopamine that he had sorely needed since Suguru walked away from him in that busy street. He scrunches his eyes shut and takes a deep breathe before hovering over the message box as he tried to determine what was appropriate to send to his ex best friend who he deeply missed and had been secretly in love with. He types out Suguru! and sends it quickly, a futile attempt to rip the bandaid off. He drops his phone, grasping his soft white hair into a fist and standing up suddenly. Satoru's phone lies alone of the floor, the message that didn't send staring back up at him. He had been entirely cut off.
