Todoroki wanted to permanently get rid of all conversations and plans for an arranged marriage imposed by a family tradition. Bakugou wanted to fabricate a scandal to get a break from villain recruitment attempts once and for all.
Didn't that mean their current goals and needs were aligned perfectly?
That was how Todoroki ended up proposing to Bakugou without any warning, followed by them tying the knot in the blink of an eye as the start to the most backwards relationship anyone could ever imagine.
