Summary
Jingliu does not know how Ruan Mei has changed her, only that she has. The woman reflected in the mirror is a far cry from the proud Sword Champion of the Luofu, the sharp edge of the High Cloud Quintet, the broken, mara-struck woman whose hands are stained with her lover's blood. She has been reduced to what is essentially an oversized pet, a pliable body to warm the bed with, but Jingliu cannot bring herself to hate what she has become.

Summary
It’s not the first time Ruan Mei has toyed with training Jingliu. But those were purely self-defense, meant as a shield to keep her protected in case Jingliu became non-compliant, and for those times it served her well. Excellent, even. But she wants something more.
(Or: Ruan Mei uses a clicker to train/tame/worsen Jingliu.)

Jingliu finds herself trapped inside a cage in Ruan Mei's lab. Stripped of her powers, under continuous assault from the Mara, and writhing from the pain the hallucinations bring about, she can only turn to her captor for comfort. She hates her sweet words, the drug she pumps into her veins, yet she can go nowhere else. From the inside she finds herself being transformed into someone, something else.
