Summary
Castiel had been content to watch humanity from the sidelines until he was tasked to enact God's will, forced to deal with two brothers who challenge what he believed to be right. After a hunt goes wrong he is called upon by Dean to use his grace on Sam after he is afflicted with demon blood, but would that be enough? Or will he need to use his own angelic blood? ... Shenanigans ensue.

It is those hopeful eyes that sway him for they remind him of his Father's gospel, prompting and waiting with his hand outstretched toward him in what Castiel notes is a handshake, a utterly human gesture of goodwill that Castiel had spied for hundreds of years.
