They were best friends instantly, it was clear to everyone they should've been something more. It became apparent to the both of them but the timing was shit and then it was too late, too many people would be hurt. So Bellamy and Clarke remain friends, because that's what they're good at. Until being around each other was too painful and they left one another without even saying goodbye.
Six years later, a lot has changed and maybe just maybe, the time is right.

They’re still staring each other down when the others shuffle into the room, a collective groan going up at the sight of them at each other’s throats once more.
“So,” Raven starts, conversational, “how do we think Clarke is going to murder Bellamy? Discuss.”
“Knife to the gut?” Miller muses, tapping a finger against his chin. “She’d want to draw it out.”
“She’ll push him off a high-rise.” Monty nods. “Messy, but satisfying.”
“I have it on good authority that she’ll disembowel him with nothing but a spoon and sheer willpower,” Clarke cuts in, dry, “but that’s just me.”
“You know, if you really wanted to get up close and personal with my body, all you had to do was ask.” Bellamy remarks, lips curling into a satisfied smirk when that pulls a scowl out of her.
Or: Notorious criminal prodigy Bellamy Blake has been tasked with a seemingly impossible heist. Luckily enough, he just might have the right crew for it.

Summary
Clarke loves her best friend, so when Octavia's brother needs a place to stay, Clarke doesn't think twice about offering up her loft. It's no trouble at all, that is until Clarke realizes what a surly, arrogant prick he is. When a few days turns into a few weeks it's too late to back out, and now she finds herself stuck with an unwelcome roommate.
PART 2 (Ch. 20-27): The second half of this story deals with some darker content. Someone from Clarke's past comes back to haunt her, and neither she nor Bellamy realize that there's something more sinister standing between them and their possible reconciliation than either of them could have predicted.
