Summary
Price retires from the military and tries to adjust to regular civilian life. Then social workers knocking at his door tell him he has a daughter. Max has had a rough couple years. After being sent to an abusive teen therapy camp, leading a revolt, then spending some time on the run, juvie feels like just another prison. She's considered a rough around the edges youth, too smart for her own good. With a history of trouble, she's sure her father will run the other way.
Title is a work in progress, open to any suggestions!
I can't believe I have to clarify this but: The main character is sixteen, younger in flashbacks, there will be NO romance plot with any task force members or any older adults/young adults. There might be romance plots with future teenage characters of similar age.
I haven't written in a long time, so might not be my best work, open to any constructive criticism.
Is this fic a cry for help? Probably. Am I sprinkling a tiny bit of my own trauma into this? Definitely. Ignore my issues (:
I do not own Call Of Duty or their characters, I'm just borrowing them for awhile.
My original characters/places are precious to me so no stealing them please.

Summary
Amari Kugisaki doesn't just want to succeed, she wants to be the best.
Ambitious, skilled and relentless, she joins Ground Zero as a sidekick with one goal in mind: prove herself and become unforgettable. But nothing could have prepared her for Dynamite, the #5 hero known for his notorious temper, who is determined to keep her in check, testing her with every step.
In a world that's constantly caving in with villain scheming, hero's under scrutiny, and internal conflicts, Amari learns quickly that survival isn't about strength. It's about wits. resilience, and knowing who to trust. Every mission pushing her to the edge, and every confrontation with Dynamite a battle of wit and ego. Yet, with every clash, she begins to see something deeper beneath the hero's bruised knuckles and hardened exterior.
Rivalry slowly shifts into trust, and amidst a mission so crucial one slip-up means death, trust shifts into something neither of them can name. In a world determined to crush them, Amari and Bakugou discover the strongest bonds are forged not just through victory, but through trusting each other no matter what the world throws at them.
And no matter how much they hate each other for it.
