Summary:
When Obi-Wan dies by Anakin's hand, he expects that to be the end.
It is not.
When he opens his eyes again, all of thirteen but with forty extra years of experience, not even the dust, dread, and death on Melidaan can stand in his way. “Uh, I guess my sweet tooth?” The detective’s brows scrunch in confusion, which is understandable, because most people have a sweet tooth. Satoru’s is just a bit extra. He chuckles proudly and gives Tsukauchi a grin. “I pretty much only eat sweets, ya know? No better nourishment than sugar!”
The detective looks a little miffed, muttering something like, “That can’t be healthy,” but writes something down anyway.

Obi-Wan was hurt. He was bleeding and wouldn't wake up. Little Anakin, only recently freed from slavery, went to the cockpit of the ship to send a distress call. He took a deep breath, then, as steadily as he could, spoke into the transmitter. “We need help, please. I don’t know where we are and we need help. Is anyone there?”
The distress call was answered and it changed everything.
