Summary
Doctor Michał Multi has everything one could possibly dream of, international recognition, a groundbreaking scientific career, and a reputation that precedes him wherever he goes. Yet behind the headlines and public admiration lies a past shrouded in rumors, controversy, and unanswered questions.
When Alex Quackity, a young press photographer, is assigned to keep an eye on the renowned scientist, he expects nothing more than another tedious job. What begins as a routine assignment gradually turns into something far more personal. The more time he spends observing Multi, the harder it becomes to distinguish professional curiosity from an increasingly consuming fascination.
As Quackity uncovers details that could make headlines, he finds himself faced with a choice. Hand over everything he discovers or keep certain secrets to himself. And the deeper he gets, the less willing he becomes to let anyone else get close to the subject of his attention.
Some things are better left unseen, and some obsessions are far more difficult to control than they first appear.
