Summary
Feyre Archeron is an art major getting ready to dive headfirst into her junior year at Sidra College. The only problem- she must take a class she’s been putting off for two years. Science. If she can’t make a passing grade by the end of the semester, she’ll be forced to give up her scholarship and either take out a loan that she can’t afford… or give up her dream and go back home.
Dr. Rhysand Starling is an astronomy professor that just so happens to be teaching the only available science class this semester: Introduction to Solar Systems Astronomy. He offers to tutor Feyre during his under-utilized office hours after seeing her struggle in the first week of class.
They quickly realize each other isn’t quite what they seem… and find themselves playing a dangerous game to hide their dirty little secret.

Summary
The burden of expectation weighs heavily on the up-and-coming ice dance team of the generation, darlings of the rink, Archeron and Aster. Sometimes Feyre feels she bears it more than Rhys does, but she would do almost anything to see him win.
They take to the ice, lapping the rink hand in hand like they’re kids again, getting used to the feeling of skating with another person. It only takes them a few strokes to be in perfect unison, as always. If everything else in the world failed her, this at least would stay the same: her body knows exactly how to match and mirror Rhys even when she doesn’t know how to talk to him.

Summary
Fayre is living a totally normal life in London, until her reclusive absent father (who may or may not be involved in organised crime) gets in contact with her. Due to the rising threat of violence, she is forced into hiding - against her will - in the Scottish highlands with the “help” of Rhysand, a bodyguard hired by her father. Forced proximity ensures, leaving Rhysand struggling to maintain his professionalism as Fayre plays every card she can in an attempt to see the outside world again.

Rhys smiles wryly at me, teasing. His hand is still on my cheek, like he’s forgotten about it. “Why, can’t I trust you?”
“Of course you can” I say, a little bit too fast
He continues, in the same teasing voice, though now undercut by a threat - something sharp just beneath the silk of his voice. “You’ll be good, won’t you darling?”
“I’ll be good” I whisper. He watches me, and I watch him, a second too long.

Before Mor left for her study abroad program, she had gripped Feyre by the arms, stared into her soul and said: “While I’m gone, if you need anything- and I do mean anything- promise you’ll call my cousin. I can’t go without knowing you’re taken care of.”
She had agreed- Mor never asked anything of her, and Feyre would do anything to ease her mind. The problem was that she couldn’t be normal around her cousin.
Mor’s cousin, Rhysand, was life-ruiningly hot. The kind of hot that should be illegal, especially for girls like her. He was also older than her: more than twice her age, with laugh lines and silver hair and reading glasses and creaky knees- and that did things for Feyre. He was also unfailingly kind to her. Altogether a deadly combination for a fatherless, unloved 19 year old.
