    She knew the answer of course, their tension and flirting had been building and pushing everyone's limits for longer then she was aware of. The first six months Vi didn’t even know Caitlyn was responding to her blunt flirtations, it had taken Jinx, Mel, Jayce, Victor and even Echo to mention it before she realised what Caitlyn was saying was actually matching her own efforts.

    “I’m not even going to answer that.” Jinx said, sliding from the couch onto the floor only to jump up innocently with her arms behind her back, slowly creeping into the kitchen to blink at Vi expectantly.

    “Sooooo? Are you going to do it?” She asked, whispering slightly as if it was some big secret.

    “Do what?” Vi asked, mouth full of toast.

    “You know, kiss, make the move, have se-”

    Caitlyn has been stressed lately with her work as the sheriff of Piltover and goes clubbing with her friend Jayce and his fiancé, Viktor, in the hopes of blowing off some steam. There she meets Vi, a tattoo artist from the Undercity who she can't seem to leave alone, despite their obvious differences.

    What started as just a fling grows into something more as Caitlyn delves further into Case 385, and discovers the network of corruption and smuggling run by Silco, and industrialist and leader of a self-proclaimed nation called Zaun. With no other connections in the Undercity to turn to, Caitlyn looks to Vi for help, and despite their brief history, Vi can’t help but feel drawn to her.

Lay low for a few years, let everything calm down at home. Come back. She's not expecting to fall in love with the town, the people, the atmosphere, the forest. She's certainly not expecting to fall for the pink-haired carpenter with the pointed smirk and the heart so big it barely fits in her chest. And she's definitely not expecting the monster at her back door that comes to her in the night begging for her help.

    All in all, she does get her fresh start.

    Vi ignored him as movement outside the window caught her eye and she leaned over to see what it was. Her neighbor looked up, their eyes meeting for a brief second. A scowl appeared on the young woman’s face and Vi quickly moved away from the window and took her seat again at the drumset.
    “Fuck me,” she mumbled.
    Ever since her neighbor had moved in a couple of months ago, it had been nothing but complaint, complaint, complaint. She hated Vi’s music, she hated her friends. She hated the way Vi’s cooking smelled (when she had the misfortune of burning it once or twice). She had threatened to call the landlord when Vi flipped her off after a petty argument about whose responsibility it was to bring the trash cans to the curb. Vi couldn’t stand her.
