The boy ignores him, he doesn't even turn around. Instead looking nervously at the door as if expecting the watchmen to step out of the way. When the man doesn't move, he faces father cautiously. He looked as if someone had carved a boy from dirty ice. He is young. Younger than Kuai Liang. Yet, despite his age, his hair was so blonde it looked nearly white, nearly as white as the oldest clan members. His eyes, leather boots, and wool clothes were a dull, ugly, grey. Under the arm of the man who brought him in white, fox-lined parka. It was the type of clothes civilians and townsfolk wore. Without the jacket Bi-Han is able to see the ropes that hold his arms tightly lashed together.
