Summary
Hob’s heart rate picked up almost immediately, the hand on his throat stealing his breath away. To be in such a compromising position in such a public spot, hidden away from the bustling street but still close enough he could see the neutral faces of fellow Londoners, was maddening. The hand on his hip, supernaturally tight enough to cause a hand-shaped indent on his skin, set his nerves ablaze in every way possible: anxiety, dread, and arousal. However, Dream’s ridiculous assumption causes him to scoff outloud, his first mistake, which causes the Endless to shove him further against the wall again. For as polite and distant as the old chap had been most of the time he knew him, Hob learned really quick what it meant to be his lover. Like he said, Dream does not share.
Dream witnesses a barista flirting with Hob and grows dangerously jealous and insecure.
He corners the unsuspecting immortal in an alley and reminds him just who he belongs to.
