Summary
In middle school, Thomas Jefferson accused a weird little scholarship kid of stealing ten dollars. It was funny. No one got hurt. The kid was dramatic, sure, but like—hilariously so.
Jefferson moved on.
The kid did not.Flash forward: that same gremlin (now feral, caffeinated, and somehow both terrifying and underweight) shows up at Jefferson’s elite university on full scholarship, armed with trauma, spreadsheets, and a vendetta.
And then he collapses from malnutrition and stress and dies (temporarily).
Jefferson panics, maybe cries a little, possibly yells at a med student.
No one is okay.A comedy.

“Where's the new hire? I thought you were giving them a tour.” Peggy asked. Alexander could only imagine how eager she was. After all, she finally got to be someone's ‘superior.’
“He's just in the bathroom, he should be coming any second now.” Lafayette replied. He was always so nonchalant, and Alexander sometimes envied that.
Peggy sighed, a bit dramatically. “It's a man?” She grumbled. “I was so hoping that I'd get to slowly build an all female team. I’m pretty sure enough men work here.”
Lafayette peeked out from the little cubicle wall that he'd gone behind, waving Alexander over. It was a bit silly, given that Laf was taller than the divider, and Alex couldn't help but smile.

alexander hamilton gets a new job working as a social media admin for the new york giants. it's less than desirable, but he needs something to strengthen his journalistic career. it also helps that the new face of the team, thomas jefferson, is pretty easy on the eyes. -

Polites stood in front of him, his arms crossed over his chest. No doubt, he was trying to go for menacing, but Odysseus knew him well enough to not be cowed.
“You have been avoiding me.” Ominous words, spoken in a dangerous voice.
It would have been threatening, had it not been part of a game of words Odysseus was well versed in, a game they had been playing since childhood.
He held a hand to his chest, the very epitome of offended.
“I have not!”Polites did not take the bait and resume their usual friendly banter.
OR
The war was over. Troy had fallen. They were all alive.
And yet, Odysseus was not okay.
Polites noticed this, and roped Eurylochus into confronting him about it. Angst ensues.Series
